Baja California Sur

Over the years, the towns of Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, and Loreto which are located in the southern half of the Baja peninsula have become transformed into a prominent resort location for foreign tourists as well as Mexican nationals. 

The combination of warm sunny weather with dry desert conditions ringed by the big blue Pacific Ocean and the inviting Sea of Cortez make this location one of México’s favorite spots for vacationers.

Once travelers venture outside of the more touristy locations, they can discover small pueblos, less crowded beaches, original cave paintings, and enjoy a more laidback desert and seaside experience.

December to early April is a good time to visit Baja California Sur to view different species of whales.
